(More customer reviews)The interesting thing about a lot of electronic products is that they usually become LESS expensive as time goes by. I don't know exactly when digital cameras were introduced, but the first time I remember hearing about them was about ten years ago, when they cost about $200 or $300. Some of them still do, but nowadays you can get a really good one for sixty or seventy bucks. Well, that's not the case with the Polaroid ION Digital VGA Camera.
To be honest, I can't believe that Polaroid would even manufacture a product of such cheap quality as this. First off, the camera doesn't have a screen where you can see the picture you just snapped (or previous pictures), so you have to wait until you hook it up to your computer to see if the pics turned out. And after you do that, you'll discover that the lens isn't focused right because the pictures are taken about five inches higher than your subject. And the pictures themselves are usually blurry; the only time you can even get a clear picture is outdoors during daytime hours.
The only real advantage with this camera is that batteries are included, but I learned that even though I kept the camera turned off while it wasn't in use, the batteries died less than two weeks after they were installed (and they were brand new batteries). People, I'm all about deals, but don't make the same mistake that I made; even standard disposable cameras have better quality than this. Save up 150 bucks and buy a REAL digital camera.
